Summary

This template produces a notice that can be placed on the top of articles or talk pages.

Parameters

  • 1 or message (required) – The message to display.
  • border-color (optional) – This changes the color of the border around the notice. (Default is #fff1e8.)
  • border-width (optional) – This changes the width of the border around the notice. (Default is 1.)
  • bgcolor (optional) – This changes the color of the background of the notice. (Default is #000000.)
  • align (optional) – Then changes the alignment of the message text. (Default is left.)
  • image (optional) – This adds an image to the left of the message text. You should include the entire coding for the image you want to transclude. (Default is no image.)
  • margin (optional) – This allows you to change the margins around the notice, giving control over notice placement. (Default is centered with a bottom margin the same size as the current font height (0 auto 1em auto).)
  • width (optional) – This changes the width of the message text. (Default is 95% of available width.)
  • clear (optional) – Overrides forcing the message text to appear above or below existing tables or images. Options are left, right, both, none, indicating which side(s) should be free of tables and images. (Default is both.)
